Insight Into Game Development
Good Morning Everyone, Todays blog post is slightly different to the last posts, today we're going to give you an insight into some aspects of the process of developing a game.
During development a lot of our assets are not fully textured until we have finalised the design for that area, Example the buildings and the interiors are greyscale, during the construction phase our designer is putting together the final ideas for that scene and collating all the textures and materials experimenting with how the final version should look.
We also spend quite a lot of time in wireframe mode, which enables us to view all the geometry in the scene, hidden and unhidden, for example doorway entrances.
The screenshots below are a few examples of what our developers sees in an average day.
