Development Diary #9

Brickford, our fictional town in Pub Simualtor has udergone a massive revamp over the past few weeks, our map team has been hard at work touching up on the older areas of the map, So far the plaza area has seen the biggest changes (Damos bar was completely rebuilt)

During this phase we have removed a lot of the older content and assets from the game, and replaced them with newer ones, unfortuantly a few of the bars and pubs have been removed, but they will be readded. The Green Man has been completely removed, however we will be rebuilding it, infact we will be basing our version of The Green Man on its real life counterpart like we did with The Old Pack Horse.

We here at Yellow Noodle Games pride ourselves on saving these iconic pubs, digitally as both The Old Pack Horse and The Green Man are pubs that our team used to frequent (One of our team even ran The Green Man !) 

We have also been experimenting with VR and hope to release a mobile version of the game that will be VR only in the new year. (Technical limitations prevent us from building a PC VR version at this time)

Castle Wars Dev Diary #2

 Today we are happy to share with you some insight into the development of Castle Wars and where we are up to with progress on the game. So without further ado lets begin. Over the last few months, we have been super busy and hard at work, working on the gameplay mechanics, AI, Story for the Campaign and the maps, as it currently stands there is 3 maps developed for the game, with 2 of them being completed and the other map is close to completion.  The base game mechanics have now been implemented fully into the game, along with the character animations and sounds, the sounds are still pretty much placeholder at this stage. Dev Diary 13: Dynamic Weather !

 What a busy month January has been, it's literally flown past us. Here at Yellow Noodle Games, we have been super busy the last month, the new plaza area is nearly complete, along with the housing area, the next area we plan to focus on is the lakeside area, which will come post-launch as a free update to the game, were adding the final touches to gameplay which we aim to feature in the coming months. We still have a mammoth task ahead of us, we still need to record source material for the beer pumps, which we have been unable to do due to lockdown, hopefully, when restrictions end we can go out collect the source material (A dev blog will be done too so you can see further insights) So without further ado let's begin on the topic of the blog, which is Dynamic Weather.
